Here, you’ll find a multitude of parks, golf courses, hiking trails, and historic attractions – not to mention miles of pristine shoreline lined with plenty of picturesque coves.

Abalone Cove Shoreline Park

Head to Abalone Cove Shoreline Park and enjoy a wide variety of beach activities at its two beaches, Abalone Cove and Sacred Cove. You’ll find plenty of things to do here – enjoy a quick hike on its trails, explore its tide pools and numerous caves, or simply relax and take in the gorgeous panoramic scenery. Make sure you bring a camera.

Peninsula Shopping Center

If you’re looking to go on a shopping spree, the Peninsula Shopping Center is definitely the place for you. Located in Rolling Hills Estates, this superb shopping hub houses top-name brands, a fantastic selection of restaurants and eateries, and hosts many special events throughout the year. You can also take a class as the center offers lessons for music, ballet, taekwondo, performing arts, and more.

Portuguese Bend Nature Reserve

Go on an unforgettable hike amid majestic canyons, rolling hills, lush greenery and rock outcrops at the nearly 400-acre Portuguese Bend Reserve, the largest of the ten reserves included in the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve. You can find the main entrance of the Portuguese Bend Reserve near Del Cerro Park.

Point Vicente Lighthouse and Interpretive Center

Enjoy unparalleled views of the ocean and learn about the history of the Peninsula as well as its surrounding waters at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, a museum where visitors can see fossils, ancient artifacts, life-sized models, and a replica of a sea cave’s interiors. The center is located on a park that has trails, picnic areas, and a lighthouse which you can visit by joining a tour.
